Technical Breakdown

GoldPrint analyzes your print layout files using precision algorithms that verify format specifications against ISO standards and printer requirements. The app processes your layout dimensions, calculates aspect ratios to three decimal places, and overlays safe zone grids to detect content placement risks.

When you import a layout, GoldPrint measures exact distances from page edges to content boundaries, comparing them against industry-standard margin requirements for your selected format. The bleed verification engine checks all four edges for sufficient extension beyond trim lines, typically 3mm minimum, flagging any areas where background colors or images fail to reach proper bleed zones.

The validation engine runs six simultaneous checks: format consistency against your selected standard, aspect ratio accuracy to match print specifications, margin safety calculations for text and critical elements, safe zone boundary verification, bleed extension measurements, and scaling detection that identifies resolution or dimension mismatches that cause unexpected cropping or stretching at press time.
